Naval equipment project delivered for the Centre de Suivi Écologique (CSE).
Project background & objective
As part of its strategic ecosystem monitoring activities, the Centre de Suivi Écologique (CSE) launched a tender for new marine and river boats.
Following a rigorous evaluation procedure, the CSE selected the technical and financial offer of SEN Équipement Marine et Industriel (SEMI Sénégal). The main objective was to equip the institution with 09 robust fibreglass boats to significantly increase its operational capacity in the field.
Our intervention
As the selected supplier, SEMI Sénégal committed to and delivered the following services:
- Supply and delivery: complete delivery of nine (09) new fibreglass boats compliant with maritime standards.
- Technical compliance: strict adherence to the specifications, tolerances and technical requirements of the contract.
- On-time delivery: transport and effective delivery within the contractual deadline.
- Warranty and support: prompt handling and remedy of any defect in the supplies, under the contract terms.
Results & impact
The completion of this contract provided the CSE with modern nautical assets, perfectly suited to observation, sampling and environmental monitoring missions in Senegal’s aquatic and coastal areas.
